CLUB UNICORN | Sneak Peek Inside Vol #2

Our second Club Unicorn bundles were received over this past week by our current #ClubUnicorn members and we are so excited to share some sneak peeks of what was in store this time around.

There is still time to get a hold of this bundle yourself and you can do so by tweeting us @Prairie_Charms or dropping us an e-mail to hello@prairiecharms.co.uk. Like all of our bundles these are only £12! We only have a limited amount remaining so these will go on a first come, first serve basis!

First up is this brand new piece for Prairie Charms, taking inspiration from our bow scrunchies. This giant headband scrunchie was designed with morning/nightly routines in mind. An easy, way to get your hair off your face in preparation for skincare and make up. Possibly one of our prettiest fabrics yet, we absolutely adore this Rainbows & Unicorn fabric and we hope you do too!

This necklace is so cute and as soon as we saw these acrylic charms we couldn't resist! This necklace comes on our signature 3x2mm silver plated curb chain at 24" and is the perfect length for casual outfits.

In your unicorn bundle you will receive two of these gorgeous gold plated bobby pins in both a dark and light pink filled with mini star embellishments for an extra sparkle. These are amazing to dress up top knots and to pin away fly-aways in simple half up-do's!

And last but not least is this unicorn silhouette headband in our raspberry ripple glitter fabric. We used a thinner bungee elastic to ensure this piece truly stands out!

We would LOVE to hear what your favourite piece is! Please leave it in the comments as it will help us to curate our #3 instalment coming in the new year!

BEHIND THE SCENES | #PrairiePizzazz What does 'Enchanted' mean to you?

This post is especially for our #PrairiePizzazz Curators! When we release a new theme for our Prairie Pizzazz Boxes we are always very thoughtful about how we can portray this into the products that we design for placement in each box. With our latest release of our Enchanted Edition Box for the autumn season this is of course no different. We wanted to originate a theme which played on the transition into this time of year, yet allowed us to put on own Prairie spin on proceedings. To us the word 'enchanted' conjures up images of magical forests, majestic animals, fairytales and the make-believe. We definitely wanted to capture this wonderment in not only the colours we have used for certain pieces but also the textures and feel of materials and fabrics we have chosen to use.

Below is a sneak peek at just a some of the pieces that we have designed for the Prairie Pizzazz Enchanted Edition. And with despatch of these boxes taking place at the end of this coming week we wanted to hear just what the word 'enchanted' specifically means to you, which we would love you to leave us in the comments below. The one that gives us the most inspiration will win a very special prize and will also inspire an additional piece that will feature in this box.

So... What does the word 'enchanted' mean to you?

Leave your answers in the comments below by Wednesday 28th October.

EVENTS | #PLBSlumberParty with Sykes Cottages

In November a group of eight bloggers will be making the trip to stay in one of Sykes Cottages for the weekend courtesy of Adele and Kirsty who run the Pretty Lovely Bloggers Events team over at @PrettyLBloggers on Twitter. You should definitely check them out if you haven't already, particularly if you are located around the Midlands, however they are branching out, hosting events across the UK both now and into the future. This isn't just an average weekend though, as the bloggers involved will be having their very own Slumber Party! Are we a bit jealous? Maybe just a little. But we thought there wasn't a better way for us to showcase our Prairie Party Service that we have been running behind the scenes for a little while now to the guests in attendance. So here is a peek at the goodies Adele, Kirsty, Laura, Hannah, Ami, Emma, Kay and Sarah-Jayne will be gifted. We hope you all have the BEST weekend and hope these just brighten your day that little bit more.

Our aim is to bring back party bags (why should we miss out just because we are older?!) and relive the nostalgia from childhood. And how do we go about doing this you say? Well by keeping the novelty that made party bags so fun and exciting back in the day and injecting a hint of sophistication into the mix to make them truly something special and that we as old(er) humans can appreciate. Our party boxes are filled to the brim with a variety of pieces from our accessories collections as well as sweet treats that are always going to find a special place in your heart. Team this with themed confetti, balloons and packaging and you have yourself a glorious selection of pieces that will be sure to enhance your event, whether it is for a birthday party, a hen-do or pretty much anything else that is worthy of celebrating!

These party bags contain 5 completely exclusive pieces from the Prairie Charms accessories collection including an adorable lilac owl silhouette acrylic necklace...because everyone turns into a 'night owl' *get it?* at a slumber party! Equally this adorable silk bow is made from the prettiest of fabrics, with hints of dark pink and pops of emerald green and teal blue which are just some of the jewel tones brought back for A/W'15. We don't want to give away all the surprises right away so you'll have to keep a look out on the blogs linked above to see what else is featured in November.

How could you not feel nostalgic looking at these princess party boxes. Embrace your inner child!

This piece you see peeking out of the top is a take on our very popular no snag knot ties, but we've made them into full sized headbands which would be perfect for a pamper night. Anyone for face masks? We've got you covered from those pesky fly-aways! This combination of black lace and the perfect of baby pinks really compliment one another. Wearing them together will allow the prettiest hints of pink to peek through! And what's more, they are dainty enough to wear for daily use, making them not only practical but a perfect simple accessory to dress up any hairstyle.

If you are interested in using our Prairie Party Service please drop us an e-mail to hello@prairiecharms.co.uk for further details!

BEHIND THE SCENES | #PrairiePinkTicket Winners

We are super pleased to be sharing this feature post with you today which includes the winners of our #PrairiePinkTicket winners with you from our launch Prairie Pizzazz Subscription Box: Festival Edition. Each of the lucky recipients of our #PrairiePinkTicket received the opportunity to have a bespoke floral crown made using our totally bespoke service. Before we sent them out we just had to take some fancy studio photography of them for posterity! They are each simply beautiful in their own way and the brain child of each of our winners, with of course our own artistic interpretation. We hope we have done each of you proud creating these pieces and even though it is a little late in the calendar to be wearing these pieces in all of their glory this year, just know that if you ever decide to attend festivals, weddings or fancy do's in the future you will be the envy of the occasion! Or... better yet rock these beauties before Summer is officially over... there is still 10 more days to go believe it or not!

This first piece was designed by Bryony Rose over at The Perks of Being Pastel Pink. She ranked pastel pink, ivory and lilac as being her top favourite colour choices and we thought why not blend a mixture of blooms together to create the most heavenly pastel mix. This delightful statement piece was created using delphiniums, corn flowers and chrysanthemum's, with a simply perfect cream grosgain ribbon. Bryony said she was willing to rock either a dainty or statement piece, and even though we couldn't help ourselves by creating this over the top piece it will be perfect piece to rock at a wedding, festival or garden party.

Adele from AdeleSmith gave us the idea behind this half-crown gem. Adele stated she'd like a mix of pinks, blues and gold blooms which we personally think creates the most striking head piece. We decided not to take the gold florals literally as sometimes these can look a little less than thrilling in person - often the material does not match seamlessly with the same silk that is used in our other blooms. As a result we added multi-faceted bead adornments in a vintage gold to bring the bloom delphinium blooms to life. We are thrilled with how this piece turned out and we sure hope that you are too Adele!

Laura over at LolaandBehold gave us the ultimate free rein to created her floral piece. Sometimes this makes us a little nervous as we don't want to create something that won't be adored. However, after browsing Laura's blog we came up with something that we hope that she will love just as much as we do! In fact we almost have a hint of jealousy over this piece! We decided to blend dainty floral asters, daises and delphiniums with a greenery base to make the colours pop just that little extra!

Natalie over at TheMoonMoth Blog gave us the inspiration we needed behind this dainty number! Natalie has the loveliest of hair colours and we wanted to make sure to make it pop with these beautiful purple, red and yellow blooms. Our particular favourites have to be the beautiful corn flowers in this piece that just add a statement to an otherwise darling crown. We think this has rather an ethereal vibe and we LOVE that.
